Awesome little motel in a lovely seaside village. Great breakfast and family oriented pub seating.

The room was bigger than other hotels as was the bathroom which had a spa bath. The room had everything that you needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful at reception, which was in the driftwood bar/ restaurant opposite the accommodation. The bar was welcoming and fully stocked and lively in the evenings but quiet after closing. A five minute walk away is the beach and promenade with plenty of places for snacks and meals and a glorious sun set in the evening.

Just what we wanted kind staff and clean room with practical room and en-suite

We stayed one night but had a meal in the restaurant that evening. The room was large, clean. and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and pleasant and we were served our meal quickly and efficiently. The food was lovely. Good home cooking! We would definitely come back. It’s very good value for money

A lovely overnight stay. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Situated just a short stroll to the beautiful beach and shops the Motel is ideally placed. I would definitely recommend the Beach Motel.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay on ground floor,big bed,big room,only downside was we were opposite the stairway to the other floors which was noisy at times,plus deliveries early morning to the hotel,Driftwood restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner, food excellent, staff attentive, plus the motel is a 5 min walk to the beautiful bay where you can have a meal/drink and take the views in, plus parts of the beach is dog friendly and motel is too which is great for us.

I have stayed at The Beach Motel for the last nine years with family and once again have had an amazing time. Staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious, spotless and the food in the driftwood is good quality and well cooked. Thank you once again for making our long weekend a good one.

First time we have stayed here after it was recommended and what a friendly little motel it is, very clean no frills with a large well mentained carpark and attached bar restaurant serving good quality wholesome meals at reasonable prices, nothing too much trouble for the ample amount of staff always around, thank you beach motel we will be back xx

Another fantastic stay at the Beach Motel. Location is superb as all amenities you could possibly want are all within a five minute walk, as is the seafront at Treaddur Bay. Rooms are large and comfortable and breakfast is excellent, as are the evening meals available in The Driftwood pub next door. We will definitely be back again.

Stayed at the Beach Motel after returning from Ireland. The young man on reception was friendly and helpful.The room itself was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious, plenty of hot water. Breakfast was good. A special request at breakfast was met. All staff very helpful.Would be very happy to stay at the Beach Motel the next time I'm in Anglesey.

We didn’t have a meal here as had already arranged to meet friends but the food being served looked good & the breakfast was excellent, will eat here next time. Will definitely use here again.

Myself and a friend had a great stay at the beach motel. Location was great for coastal walking. Check in was easy and the staff friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and shower pressure and jacuzzi bath were amazing after a long days walking. Simple but clean and tidy and equipped with everything you need. Would come again.

Stayed here 1 night and the staff were really good , room was adequate and clean for an overnight stay , wasn’t the best on the outside but was fine inside. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovley . Would stop here again if I was this way .

This is the second time myself, my husband and our little dog have stayed at the beach motel, the staff are lovely and friendly and cant do enough for you, meals are brilliant. The motel was having a new paint job done on the outside of the building which really freshens the outside up and lovely with nice bright bedding plants in pots dotted round. Would definitely recommend the beach motel to everyone, it's so close to the beach too xx

Anyone looking for a comfortable night’s sleep and a hearty breakfast will be more than satisfied staying here, spotlessly clean, friendly staff,ample car parking space and peacefully quite.Highly recommended

As we were sailing the following morning on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry, we wanted somewhere convenient to stay and the Beach Motel suited our purpose. We were pleased to find that their restaurant was open on the Tuesday night and we ate there, we had a very good chef's curry and a few of glasses of very palatable Sauvignon Blanc. As we like a walk-in shower, I chose the disabled room on the ground floor. It was spotlessly clean with a modern feel. Shower was fine and water was hot. Don't be expecting extras like tissues, various creams and lotions etc. but soap was provided and plentiful towels. I especially liked the fact that the beer garden closes at about 10pm to ensure a quiet night for residents. Breakfast was everything that one would expect from any hotel, very good and cooked to order. Very efficient and pleasant staff. If I was to find a fault it would be that the bar was unattractive and lacked atmosphere, but that wasn't important to us. This hotel ticked all all boxes.

Short break away with my son. Trearddur bay was recommended by a friend and we found the Beach Motel quickly on the 'net. Proved to be ideal for us. Comfortable, welcoming and very pleasant staff with good food and easy reach of everything that Trearddur Bay has to offer. Also excellent touring base for the rest of the island and its ammeanities. I can confidently pass on the recommenedation of the Hotel and area to any other 1st time and more Anglesey visiters. We will be back.

The decor of the rooms are basic white walls but clean. Coffee and tea making facilities in room . The bedrooms are separate from the main building about few seconds walk so no problem. Lovely cooked breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn't have meal here this time only stopped one night but had steak and chips previous visit which were good. There are a few other very nice eateries in walking distance with good menus and food .Saw a fish and chip shop but didn't use it. One large sandy beach few minutes walk and 3 small bays about 10 to 15 mins up the hill our favourite was the last one stunning. Had a swim in that one and the large beach.

Clean, comfortable, friendly, good food, decent choice of beer etc and a good atmosphere in the bar. Oh and the shower worked.Would we return YES!!

Stay here every time we visit Treaddur Bay, clean and comfortable spacious motel type rooms. Kettle with tea and coffee supplied and toiletries in the bathroom which also has a whirlpool bath. Dog friendly. Best carvery here on a Sunday highly recommend

The dated exterior just adds to its charm. The rooms are modern and spacious with new bathrooms and excellent showers and beds. Great location and best of all is the excellent restaurant. The food is top notch. People travel for miles for the Sunday lunch and we had the best ever Steak and Ale pie. Breakfast can be paid for and £9.99 gets you juice, limitless tea and coffee and a 'very' full English breakfast perfectly cooked.Will definitely go back. The staff are all so lovely and nothing is too much trouble.

Stopped here Friday and Saturday we were meeting up with friends for a birthday weekend. we stayed at the Beach Motel with another couple who had stayed before the rooms were very good lots of room every thing you need and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Would certainly recommend The Beach Motel.

We have been coming to the Beach Motel for a number of years but, due to illness, we were unable to make it last year. It was always out ‘go-to’ destination but this year it was better than ever, never more so than because of the cheery and helpful young staff that have been behind the bar and waited on us.The food was also excellent and the gammon with all the trimmings was delicious.The breakfast were big enough to keep us going all day and we give full marks all round.

We were quite surprised at the size of the room .Clean and tidy . Mattress a little hard for us .As we arrived early evening on the 5th we didn’t have tea or coffee so didn’t notice the beverages HAD not been updated so this morning no milk only one tea bag !Not best pleased ! I don’t like black coffee . We enjoyed our meal in the restaurant Friday evening. That was very nice .

The room and bathroom were very bright and clean with plenty of space and with a very comfy bed which thankfully did not smell. ( like some beds do! ) However, bizarrely both the waste bins both smelled of cigarettes! Rather like old ash trays! I can only assume the bin bags are stored in a room somewhere where smoking takes place? It was rather off putting whenever the bin was used making a cup of tea! It wasn’t just a faint whiff of cigarettes but a really nauseating overpowering smell! My other criticism is that unfortunately as the room wasn’t entirely in a private location it necessitated having to pull the blinds all the way down which shut out all the daylight! It was all or nothing. Not a good choice of roller blind. Venetian or vertical blinds might be more suitable?I’ll end on a positive note. The staff were very friendly and the food and service excellent.J.Wood

I have stayed here 4 or 5 times and been pleased each time.Good clean rooms with tea and coffee,a bath in the room is a bonus for us as we usually use our motorbike for travel.The adjacent pub does decent meals and a breakfast is available. 5 minute walk to the lovely Trearddur Bay beach.

The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We took our dog and the staff fussed over her and made it easy for us to eat and drink in The Driftwood. The food in The Driftwood was excellent. The motel is in an ideal spot for walking, or just having a day on the beach.

Great dog friendly place to stay after returning to UK on evening ferry from Ireland. Reception was closed when we arrived, but instructions were provided on how to access our room. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Had a lovely full english breakfast in the restaurant next door before we continued our journey home.

We stayed at the Beach Motel for 4 nights and had a top floor room. It was very clean and comfortable- and had a flat screen television plus tea/coffee making facilities.There was a good choice of food at breakfast and we found the staff very friendly and helpful.They don’t serve evening meals in the restaurant on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, which is a shame. There are other places to eat in the area though.

The property was clean, the staff were very friendly, the hotel is only a three minute walk to the beach, plenty of parking and the breakfast was very tasty and the ribeye we tried on an evening was perfectly cooked.

The room was very clean and tidy. Staff were very pleasant. Arrived Sunday lunchtime and the bar was packed with people enjoying full Sunday lunch. So it must be good. Only comment was they didn't serve breakfast until 8am which was unfortunate as I had to leave every day by 7.30 for work. Otherwise highly recommended.As I have already booked for a return job in July.

Stopped at the Beach Motel whilst competing at Trac Mon race circuit about 20 minutes away. After a hot day in the car the hotel was a very pleasant stop. Nice size room for myself and my son, great bathroom with hot shower and a whirlpool bath. Area is fantastic, we will be back when we have more time for a proper look around.

The appearance and setting of the Motel isn’t immediately welcoming, but don’t be put off by the design and layout. You get friendly service, a clean and spacious room with all amenities, an excellent breakfast with a beautiful beach nearby.

We booked in for a night to attend a friend’s birthday party. I emailed a few days before checkin to ask for early check in if possible as we were being picked up by a taxi. They were so accommodating to help us.The breakfast was excellent and I would recommend staying here.

We stayed one night, prior to our ferry to Ireland, after our previous accommodation fell through. It was a lovely surprise. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and helpful. There are numerous restaurants close by. The Motels restaurant was hosting a wedding.Yes there was some noise, but it did not bother us.

This is very good value for money accommodation with a very good pub/restaurant. We were disappointed that the restaurant was closed for the first 3 nights of our stay but when we did finally manage to eat there, on our 3rd night, we had an amazing time excellent meal.Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times.Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely love this little gem of a place. We have been visiting the Beach Motel for 3 years now and it remains as good as our very first visit. The rooms are exceptionally clean, shower/bath, TV etc, staff are exceptionally helpful and can't do enough to ensure you enjoy your stay. Right next-door is the Driftwood Restaurant and snacks, the meals are very reasonable priced and the menu has a good range of choice, 5 minutes from lovely beaches and fab places to walk, wildlife outstanding at eh RSPB Stack visitor centre, what more can we wish for!!

This place is ideal for a day or two as a base for the beach or exploring Anglesey. Not a‘boutique’ hotel, but clean, comfortable, in a great location with a delicious breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. What more could you ask? A really good shower? Yep, that’s included too!! Rooms very good and extremely clean. Breakfast choices very varied and all delicious. Staff friendly and helpful.Only downside was that a guest let their dog out of their ground floor room off the lead and it blocked my way twice while barking with its hackles raised. I am nervous of dogs I don’t know and it wasn’t friendly. The guest apologised and picked the dog up but I’m wondering if dogs are supposed to be on a lead?

Travelling to the Crucible for my annual pilgrimage from Tipperary Ireland. Wonderful staff, couldn't do enough for me. Super food and extensive menu at Driftwood.Lots of gluten free options. The pub is friendly with a lovely mix of locals and tourists.I shall be back. 10/10

The Beach Motel is exactly what it says it is - a great stopover in a beautiful village, with amenities within easy reach. We stayed for three nights and were able to walk to the shop and all the restaurants (there are about 8 or 9 of them) and you can take your pick. Saturday nights are really busy for the restaurants though and you must book in advance.The motel is run by a fabulous bunch of friendly young people, who were really helpful.We would go back.... as we will be visiting Anglesey Circuit again.

Don't be fooled by the somewhat utilitarian exterior, the rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. They are also big, and have a big clean bathroom. Breakfast is absolutelysuperb.

We've stayed at the motel for a few years now. The outside is deceiving - it needs a lick of paint, but the rooms are very modern, lashings of hot water, good wifi, comfortable beds, and a great power shower. Good breakfasts and a great choice on the dinner menu. The staff are lovely - very helpful and cheery. Recommended!

Very deceptive from the outside as the building looks in disrepair but inside the rooms were lovely and warm, very big, lovely comfie beds. Big bathroom with shower and bath. Hand-wash provided and nice towels. Interlocking rooms for families. Reception is next door in the pub. Had dinner there and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Dinner was lovely. Didn't stay for breakfast, which starts at 8am, as we were catching the ferry. Would definitely stay again.

It’s old and it’s kooky but it’s bloody great !It’s a motel from back in the day but the rooms are spotlessly clean, bathrooms super and the heating Bob on !Add these features to perfect staff who go the extra mile and a super chef in the main building and what’s not to like.Walls are paper thin and they need to change the mattress’s in room 5 (they’re shot but are ok for a couple of nights ! ), but we loved it and would stay again.Loved the bar and the sports channels too, get some Welsh cask ale in please, we will also be eating with you again.Thank you for a lovely weekend xx

Extremely clean throughout. Comfy bed, plenty of hot water. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Bar man was welcoming, live music in the bar. Definitely returning, would recommend.

Just got home from brilliant long weekend we stayed in room 2 it was clean spacious and brilliant bath . They were all very welcoming and was great with our frenchie pup,the breakfast every morning was lovely and we eat in the restaurant the fish an chips was amazing.Have stayed here before and will most definitely be back

Room was clean and ready before the allocated time. The staff were welcoming and helpful as always. We didn’t eat at the Driftwood in the evening but had breakfast both mornings, the full breakfast arrived quickly, hot and very good quality ingredients. We have stayed here 5+ times, always good and will definitely return again.

The Motel is so much more than it looks. The room was clean and spacious and I had a sea view.I had a brilliant night's sleep and the most delicious breakfast.It's a very friendly place to stay. Easy to book and great value for money.

This motel is set just off the main road right by the sea.Plenty of free parking.Dog friendlyRooms are warm and clean, but no daily housekeeping or refreshing of tea/ coffee etc.Metal stairs can be noisey and people leaving the pub and/or useing the smoking area were often inconsiderate that this was where people were trying to rest and sleep.Breakfast was good, but you pay extra so I went elsewhere on most mornings.The pub serves food but not every day so again I went elsewhere.I would stay again as for the price the motel met my needs.

We had a lovely couple of days, thank you to all of the staff they are amazing, so friendly and helpful, every member of staff was great, the only negative was there was no fridge in the room, I’m sure there was the last time we stayed but it wouldn’t put me off booking again.

Stayed for 2 nights as a last minute booking with my dog. Very pleasantly surprised, the outside of the building is quite dated but the rooms look recently redecorated and had everything I needed including wifi which was great as I could work from my laptop in my room. Great value for money and across the road from the beach. Plenty of walking routes in the area and spoilt for beaches.Will look forward to coming back again in the future.

I highly recommend this motel, which represents very good value for money.The staff are very friendly, there is a relaxed atmosphere but at the same time everything runs efficiently.I had a room on the ground floor as I had a dog who doesn’t do stairs.The room was spotlessly clean, as was the bathroom with good shower, (didn’t try the bath with jacuzzi). The bed was very comfortable.The room was very spaciouswith plenty of storage for possessions. Good soundproofing meant noise wasn’t an issue.And there was a connecting door to the adjoining room where my friend was staying which was very convenient.Breakfast was relaxed with good choice.Best of all the motel is a couple of minutes from a wonderful beach with swimming, surfing and dog walking enjoyed all year.I would definitely return here, although I imagine that in season everything is very much busier than it was at the beginning of March.Thank you very much, Beach Motel, for a memorable stay.

We only had a one night stay with our Border Collie, but found The Beach Motel was brilliant in so many areas. Plenty of parking space, very good accommodation (we stayed in the disabled room with very good facilities and a very comfy bed).The food was excellent, both our evening meal and breakfast. Most of all the staff were very helpful and friendly. Will definitely return again soon.

I ven though we arrived rather later at around 10:30pm and left super early in the AM, I could easily tell this is just a Freya little spot! The lady that handed over the room key was the sweetest, and so patient even though we’d arrived past check in time. Room’s spacious and bed’s comfy as well! Would totally recommend!

Booked for a last minute Saturday night stopover, good price, clean & tidy room, bath/shower, clean towels, iron, hairdryer, kettle, tea and coffee. Can’t really ask for much more for somewhere to lay your head for the night. Also, super breakfast at the pub next door. We will return!!

Easy trip from the ferry. Parking spaces despite busy Friday night. Our meal arrived pronto, and was delicious. Also excellent value.We won't try any other hotels for our regular Holyhead ferry journeys as BEACH MOTEL is perfect for our needs.

Would recommend Beach Motel and their Restaurant to everyone. Our room was so comfortable, and lovey and warm. We had everything we needed. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We had a lovely meal. Fantastic place to stay.

Only downside was that the Mediterranean chicken was so delicious that I have tasked my wife with making the same sauce for me!! Very comfortable room - and we had the disabled room and that was brilliant for a shower without getting into the bath. We will stay there in future every time we cross over to see daughter in Ireland, and would highly recommend staying there, and having a delicious evening meal and breakfast

Room was cosy and clean bathroom was good and plenty of space. Heating goes off about 10 in mornings and is off over night but was a bit chilly this week so took a fleece each with us. Staff are very nicewill stay again. They had abirthday do on Friday nightthe crowd seemed young and a bit too near for comfort but they finished by 11.30. Usually a very quiet place so will check beforehand next time. Enjoyed our stay and area is lovely for exploring and the beach is a few minutes away.

Our 4th visit with our two collies, the rooms are clean, large with all required facilities and of course en-suite.The shower is excellent and plenty of hot water. The food is excellent with a fabulously friendly and nice staff. It’s situated next to the village hall, mini golf and 5 minutes to the main beach which is open to dogs October to April. Definitely recommend the Thursday quiz night. Will be back in the New Year.

Would definitely recommend The Beach Motel. The room was beautifully clean and cosy. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! I would recommend the Sunday carvery. The only downside was that we booked for breakfast in the Monday morning, we were the only customers at this timeand the food except for the fried egg had been warmed up/microwaved- we could hear it pinging! Would still return though!

Lovely, warm and clean with pleasant staff that go the extra mile.Some noise from the bar on certain nights but finished promptly around 11 o clockwise meant with children we could cope.All in all a great trip.

Our 3rd visit at the Beach Motel and already booked again. The rooms are good sized with a big bathroom. Plenty of room for our 2 dogs. The food is excellent and served with a smile and well priced. Quiz night is Thursday which is fun even coming joint last. It’s 5 minutes away from the beach which is open to dogs Oct- March. Other dog beaches very close by. The team are really customer oriented and definitely recommend a stay.

When you first pull up to the motel it looks a bit basic, and the rooms are a bit basic to be honest, but they are spacious and clean. The welcome was super friendly and the team were excellent throughout the stay. The bar and restaurant is used by locals so the atmosphere is inviting and inclusive. If you are there on a Thursday, so the quiz, the host is magnificent… the motel is a great base - the breakfast is well priced and very qood quality. There are plenty of nice bars, restaurants and cafes and a lovely beach all within walking distance - there’s even a Spar that sells fresh lobster! Lovely and would stay again

Decided on a weekend getaway and find this hotel. Reasonably priced and 5 mins from Triarddur Bay Beach.Staff were all friendly and efficient. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a bath as well as a shower. The bar downstairs was a proper pub with a great atmosphere (when I arrived there was a Welsh Rugby match and some of the locals were explaining the rules to me:)Evening meal I had Beef and Ale pie which was superb and reasonably priced. In some of the places I've stayed before, breakfast is either a mountain of fully cooked food or some cornflakes. Here they had various options and a sausage "butty" and some tea was just what I needed.Overall superb. I'll be back there soon.

Whilst I have to say that the Motel wasn't much to look at from the outside, we were very pleasantly surprised by the standard and cleanliness of the rooms. Great value for money.

Delicious steak and ale pie.

We stayed at The Beach Motel for 4 nights at the beginning of September. The Motel, with its Driftwood bar and restaurant is situated within easy walking distance of all the beaches in Treaddur Bay. There are other bars and restaurants nearby too.We were allocated a room on the second of 3 floors, easily accessable via a wide staircase.We had previously chosen a family room, which had a double and a single bed. The room was spacious and comfortable. It had all the facilities similar to those that the normal chain hotels offer - including a kettle plus tea, coffee and milk.Although we didn't eat dinners in the Driftwood restaurant, we had the very reasonably priced breakfast twice - there was a choice of cooked, smaller cooked or continental.There was free onsite parking and although we didn't take up the offer - free golf on the Motel's nearby golf course - clubs etc included.We found all the staff very friendly and helpful and would certainly recommend The Beach Motel to anyone looking for good accommodation in the area.

Hate to call this place a budget motel but it is reasonably priced, it's really clean and since my last visit you can see improvements have been made.What I will say that all the staff were fantastic so friendly, we had a meal on our first night and the portion was generous. This is the second time we’ve stayed here in the space of 6 weeks, and it was amazing as it was before.As a single mum with a young child, going away can be stressful, here though, it’s just so easy!You feel safe, cared for, and considered, everyone is incredibly friendly, and nothing is too much trouble.They positioned us on an end so we didn’t have people walking past our room, asked us daily if we needed anything for the room (extra towels etc) and were always interested in what we were doing during the day.They were happy to hold onto the room key when we went to the beach, and the on site restaurant is beautiful.This will forevermore be our go-to place to stay on the island - 2 minute walk from the beach, air-con in the room, peaceful on a night, and staff with great knowledge of the island. Not a single fault to find.Thank you as always, and we’ll definitely be back

The exterior is certainly off putting (it really needs attention) and the metal staircase is noisy, especially as our room was directly opposite it. The room itself is basic and dated and the bed was very uncomfortable. The shower over the bath is very low so I had to contort myself to wash my hair. However, despite all of this, it was spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and it was perfect for our one night stop over. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the bar or restaurant.We would definitely stay there again because it's location is ideal for what we wanted to do.

Lovely helpful staff. Facilities provided were of excellent quality towels,toilet rolls to name just two. We had a meal there with family who were staying in Trearddur Bay and we all agreed that the choice and quality of food was really good along with the service. I would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others. x

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here.The rooms are lovely & big but not as clean as last timeWe come down to Angseley for a fishing holiday. We stayed 4.nights last time so got deal of pay 3 night get 1 free.We only stayed 2 nights this time & thought it wasn't worth £92.50 room only £46.25 each per night for room only so might as well booked an apartment or bed Breakfastnext time for less than this it's a shame but feel as though we have hit rip off Britain

Just enjoyed a 3 day stay here , Absolutely loved the spacious room , beds were super comfy and absolutely loved the spa bath . Breakfast was spot on and we also enjoyed an afternoon meal here too , absolutely perfect. Staff were all welcoming and friendly we would highly recommend a visit here :)

Back again for our annual golf weekend @ Holyhead and our overnight stay at the Beach. Yet again another brilliant weekend enjoyed by all of the guys. The rooms the food and of course refreshment. Outstanding value the staff are second to none very refreshing. We had one small issue which was resolved in less than 30 seconds fantastic. It truly doesn’t look particularly pleasing on arrival but the rooms and The Driftwood Bar and Restaurant are fabulous.It’s fantastic value for money; the room has everything you need and was spotlessly clean with generous, fluffy towels and drink sachets. There is also shampoo/ conditioner/ hand wash and a hairdryer.The staff are lovely; very friendly, cheerful and helpful. There’s a large car park and the surrounding area is great too with a perfect beach and lovely walks and bars, restaurants and shops.The Driftwood is great, divided into a bar, restaurant and conservatory. The food was really good too and again, good value. The bar sometimes has music but the noise is managed very well. Great place to stay - handy for the ferry but worth a longer break. Thank you!!

The motel is great and was ideal for our needs, would definitely stay again

Room was clean and spacious despite needing a little loving care. Wooden window felt insecure and had to push the window from outside to close it. In this respect combination safe May have been useful in the wardrobe.Comfortable and staff were very friendly.only let down was no fridge for water/pop etc but plenty of room to accommodate, especially for family with babies for milk storage.Excellent location and very competitive prices.

Great weekend at The Beach. Don't let the outside put you off. Rooms are comfortable and everything works, including the spa bath which was great after a day hiking. Dog friendly. My little dog settled in straight away. Pub on site which we enjoyed both nights, (including the dog) but well managed so no noise late at night. Only thing that could have improved the stay would be a little fridge in the room.

Fabulous day on the beach. Followed by a great shower in a spacious room with everything you need for a one night stop over. Great food over at The Sea Shanty followed by a friendly pint at The Driftwood. Thank you The Beach Motel.

If you want somewhere with friendly welcoming staff, very clean & comfortable rooms, lovely breakfast and fabulous location to enjoy Trearddur Bay beach, shops restaurants and close proximity to the A55 so you can venture out and enjoy the many attractions, activities and beautiful sights then this is definitely the place for you. This is my second stay, first time with my two children & dod second time with my partner & two dogs. Both times other members of my walking group stayed and all were just as happy with the Motel & location. I would highly recommend especially for the price. Xx

When we decided to stay an extra night although the place was very fullthis was arranged very well.The food was good and reasonably priced. The room staff were very obliging and helpful. The only let down was the weather.

After a ten and half hour drive delighted to have a lovely meal and a comfy bed. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Room and bathroom spotless. Prefect for pets too, I had my 14 year old Beagle with me.

Clean room, fabulous shower, perfect location for Trearddur Bay beach.

As always the rooms are clean and well presented , and customer service excellent , the staff are always there to help

Overnight stay en route to ferry, lovely spot just 10 minutes drive away, right beside a beautiful beach. Rooms extra large with modern bathroom with power shower. Friendly Pub with a local vibe (Great pub quiz on Thursday nights), reasonably priced drinks. Breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Would def stay here again, for more than one night if possible.

Polite staff, easy check in. Spacious room and bathroom, very clean, very little noise.Fast service at the bar, excellent food, great service. Pillows were too flat for us (2 each), jacuzzi bath didn't work when attemped to use in the evening.

As per usual the beach does not let us down!We booked 3 rooms as our mums came with us this time. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed playing cards and darts in the bar last night. Sad that the restaurant was closed but you are definitely entitled to it. Thankyou once again for your hospitality!! Rooms as spotless as ever too!

Functional room comfortable bed good shower spa bath.Excellent location for walking.Short distance to well maintained beach (less than 5min walk).Room servicing had to requested on couple of occasions they forgot to service room,however on reporting to reception issue soon resolved.We had no problem parking at hotel.

Don't be put off by external appearance the motel looks a little drab, but internally its fabulous. Large room, lovely bathroom, Jaccuzi bath, and all spotlessly clean. The bar and breakfast area are cosy, the full English breakfast is huge.Staff are lovely and can't do enough to help. A big thank you to Chloe and Adam, in particular.If like us you have dogs, you will find it very dog friendly and the location is just yards from the beach. Just left today and already booked to come back.

We stayed just one night but were very pleasantly surprised by the size and comfort of the room. It was also an excellent price compared to other similar hotels in the area. We felt very relaxed here. Just a short stroll across to the beach. We would definitely recommend to others and be more than happy to stay again.

Fantastic place, well priced and good value. They have an excellent team & great chef. Rooms are big & comfortable. Great shower & a bathroom with useful things like a mirror you can actually see in. Only downside is they don't make your room up each morning, which is odd. Rest is excellent. Would recommend.

This building looked like our preconceived idea of an American Motel.Inside the rooms it looked even more like an American Motel.Don’t let this fool you.Lovely spacious rooms. Nice big bathrooms with super showers. Lots of big fluffy towels. Big comfortable beds. TV with great reception and plenty of channels.Overall, we will definitely be staying here again.

Had a stop over here before our ferry the next day, beautiful place, very clean and friendly. Rooms were large and spacious and the bar/restaurant were really nice and reasonable, the food was excellent.We were here very early after settting off at 430 in the morning from our home, staff were really helpful and our room was ready well before the 3pm check in. The short walk to the bay was ideal and great way to stretch the legs after a 5hr journey.Would most definitely return.

My wife is Japanese and in Japan customer service is of a much higher standard than in the UK but we both agree that your helpful, well mannered, polite cheerful staff team would all pass with flying colours in Japan.We will not hesitate to book at your Motel next time we are in the area and also recomend you to our friends and family.Thank you all so much for making us so welcome.

Don't be put off by the rather functional looking motel building (as I was) once you're in the rooms are huge, there is a good bathroom with a great shower and bath. WiFi was good so I could work. Pricewise this was a bargain when you could pay £300 a night not far away, I can't say it was plush but it was absolutely an option a d the staff were lovely.

This was our fourth visit to Beach Motel, this time with sister in law and her husband. As ever the accommodation suited our needs and the booking experience direct with the motel was quick and efficient.We had (big) breakfast every day and evening meal and both were excellent (the halloumi fries with chilli jam) was my favourite. We will return!

Wow i must say the service from this Hotel is nothing shirt of spectacular.My trip had hit a snag with the train strike in Uk. But after talking With Anne at the hotel shehelped me book a room (midnight arrival) made sure everything was ready for me, and even helped relay messages to,from the Cab company so to make my short stay enjoyable.Anne went above and beyond (in my opinion). 1000 ⭐️….. Amazing staff and great location.Ample parking (essential on a hot sunny bank holiday weekend). Comfortable bed, great shower and basic tea/coffee making.The room we had was generously sized, clean and comfortable.We had everything we needed and good food just a stones throw away. (Great breakfast in particular).All the staff were warm and friendly and hardworking too as they were very busy but still had time for a smile and to make sure all was ok like you were the only customer in the room.It is basic, maybe considered dated in decor by some but we had an amazing stay and can't wait to go back.Highly recommended.

We arrived early but as our room was ready we were allowed access, staff were very friendly but professional. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. We didn’t have an evening meal here but did have a full breakfast which was really nice and plentiful. This is my 3rd of hopefully many more visits.

Beach Motel was a perfect spot to visit the beautiful neighbouring beaches within 5 mins walk with the largest beaches then 3 more small bays further up the road. The beaches with clear water and sandy and rock combined.The cooked breakfast was perfect and the steak and chips we had Wednesday evening was also cooked perfectly. The room was clean with white walls had iron and ironing board if required. There was a jacuzzi type bath to relax in with also overhead shower. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff, comfortable bed, jacuzzi was great. And the location was unbeatable.I’ll be back someday. I look forward to it.

We love this place, Anna greated us, offered to carry luggage to room, rooms are lovely, very clean has all you need Tea/Coffee/TV etc. I am disabled no problem room on lower level adapted. Driftwood Restaurant and pub next to accomodation,wide range of beers and wines, lovely restaurant and excellent bar food, the cheif Peter is top class nothing too much trouble for him will cook to your needs, try the fresh fish and chips wonderful, breakfast to die for! All the staff are very friendly and helpful. We went seal watching today loved it, booked again for this year, tells you everything!

The Motel is in a great location to access the main beach and small coves of Trearddur The room provided everything you would expect of a hotel room and also contained an ironing board and iron (useful when unpacking creased clothes!). Room extremely clean and warm and beds comfortable. Would stay again as great value for money without sacrificing on room quality.

The room was big and nicely furnished with a comfy bed, plenty of storage, a TV and a kettle. The bathroom had a jacuzzi bath and fitted shower. Just a few paces away is the Driftwood bar and restaurant. There was an open-mic night on Tuesday when we arrived; couldn't wait to unpack and join the friendly and talented locals for a few beers (Courage Directors). We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant on Wednesday and a quiz night on Thursday before heading home next morning after an excellent breakfast. Located just minutes from beautiful Trearddur Bay. Thank you to everyone for a lovely welcome and great service. Of course we'll be back.

We have just spent 3 days here. Very nice and quiet room which was well equipped. Even had a jacuzzi. The restaurant is excellent and all the staff were very friendly. Good parking and 2 minutes from the beach. It does look a but tired from the outside, my wife thought it looked a bit like a prison, but don't be put off. It is a very good hotel and an ideal place to look around this beautiful island. We will definitely return to both the hotel and the island.

On first appearance (outside) the apartments looked like it needed a lick of paint (tired looking). However once we were given the key and went inside our room we were quite relieved as the rooms were actually fine. The room was very spacious and was nice and clean.The beds were very comfortable with good quality cotton bedding, I actually slept really well, which is something I don’t usually do when I stay somewhere.The bathroom was a good size too with a whirlpool bath that did work and a shower. Tv and Wi-Fi both worked really well. There’s a pub/restaurant that’s approximately 12ftaway and despite this we were expecting to hear noise, punters leaving at night etc but there was nothing, not a sound, this was despite the pub being full for most of the day. Very respectful community customers towards people staying at the motel. The food in the restaurant was really lovely and the breakfast in the morning was just something else, obviously locally sourced and was excellent. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating.We would definitely stay here again, even dogs are made to feel 100% welcome in the pub/restaurant which is usually a must if travelling with dogs.Oh and the beach is literally a 2min walk away. I’d definitely have given 5* but given 4 only due to the outside of the building looking a little tired. But please don’t let that put you off staying here as all in all it was ideal.

Beautiful big room with en suite. Very clean, bags of space for us and our dogs. Spa bath looked amazing. I didn't get a chance to use it. Staff very helpful, can't do enough for you. Had evening meal which was lovely(bit hot/spicey).but fineLovely breakfast.Only downside bed not as comfy as it looked but we are very particular and it will not stop us staying again. Just got home after a wonderful 3 night stay at The Beach Motel. We’d actually booked for 2 nights but were having such a good time that we extended for an extra night! We stayed in a family room which we loved- a double bed for me and my youngest daughter (aged 6) and a single bed for my eldest daughter (aged 10).The room was a good size for the three of us and had everything we needed (a big tv, free Wi-Fi, comfy beds, plenty of space for clothes and bags and tea and coffee making facilities). I think you can request an extra camp bed if you are travelling as a family of 4. We particularly liked the bathroom which had a jacuzzi bath - this was such a fun thing for the girls to do after a long day out and about and just made the whole holiday even more fun!We had continental breakfasts each morning which were yummy! The girls were so well looked after by the staff who kept the croissants and chocolate pastries coming for my youngest daughter who ate SO MUCH!! Even though we didn’t have cooked breakfasts we saw other guests having them and they did look delicious.The motel is super close to the main Treaddur Bay beach which meant a really quick 2 minute walk back for hot showers after playing on the beach and in the sea. The heated towel rail in the bathroom was a godsend and got the kids swimming things dry really quickly!We absolutely loved our little break away and will DEFINITELY visit again really soon - we’ll bring Daddy with us next time - he was most disappointed to have missed out this time due to work!Would highly recommend The Beach Motel - we felt really looked after whilst staying and the room and location were fab! After previous bad experiences staying on Anglesey I feared the worst after leaving it late to decide to go away for the school holidays. I was pleased to see that the room was clean, well organised and not lacking in comforts. A nice big, firm bed made for two nights of sound sleep even though a storm raged outside. A camp bed was supplied for my daughter which was appreciated. The spa bath was a nice touch and the shower provided instant hot water. Breakfast was an affordable extra but we had made plans for the mornings. We'll definitely go again and take the dog this time.

I stayed here overnight on Wednesday 12th April with a group of friends.We had an evening meal which was well cooked and presented.The staff were friendly and efficient.Lovely en-suite room with a comfortable bed.The ‘full Welsh’ breakfast was very much like a full English and was spot on. Plenty of tea/coffee and toast. All for £9.95p.We will be back.

Just back from a 4 night stay here over Easter. Read the reviews before we went that mentioned that it was better than it looks from the outside and it was exactly that. The rooms were spotlessly clean and very spacious. It was basic but the bed was comfy and it suited us with taking our dog. The staff are lovely and friendly and the bonus is they have their own bar and serve meals. We had a breakfast everyday which was lovely. It's a two minute walk down to the promenade and the lovely beach. Great stay would definitely book again.

We have been coming to the beach motel for long weekends for the last 4 years, it’s becoming our home from home. This stay like all our others was perfect.Room is always clean & well stocked. Bed is comfy with extra pillows if needed. The bar & restaurant is reasonably priced & good quality. Most noticeable thing this visit was the staff, all were so welcoming, friendly always smiling & happy to help even on the busy Saturday night, they deserve the recognition. Already booked for august 😊

Comfortable room if a bit dated. It was busy while we were there but the staff were able to produce a good breakfast without too much delay despite this. We enjoyed our short break and would be happy to stay again.

We had a lovely night stay at the Beach Motel.It was very comfortable and clean. All the staff were extremely friendly and the breakfast was lovely (we paid for breakfast separately) in the evening the bar area was quite busy but a nice atmosphere. The bare had nice friendly staff and a lovely drop of Guinness.They also have Sky Sports on.The rooms are very large with comfortable beds. The rooms are separate in a three story block up metal steps. But don’t be put off by this it’s a lovely Motel in a fabulous location close to the beach with plenty of parking.1, Friendly2, Comfortable3, Good PriceI would definitely stay over again.Thanks 👍

We spent two nights here with are dog and had a lovely time , room was always warm when we got back from are walks, beds nice and comfy, large flat screen tv, only thing wrong was there was no fridge to keep milk or water cold otherwise are stay was great and would return again in the warmer months thanks

Came to Anglesey for an overnight stop and found the Beach Motel, who we booked direct with and saved money by not using the booking sites. There was no deposit required and the check in with motel staff was easy and the staff were very friendly. The room was immaculate and of a decent size. Our dog was welcomed. Towels provided were clean and good quality as was the bedding. Bathroom was good with a powerful shower and a jacuzzi bath. Usual facilities all present, such as tea and coffee making facilities, iron, board, hand soap, tv and hairdryer. Had a most enjoyable stay and will definitely come back. Yes there was some noise from the other rooms, but that is not the fault of the motel and did not detract from our stay. Loved it here. The full breakfast (not included in the room price) was value for money and good quality. Variety of options.

The room was very comfortable and great value for money … but I nearly turned around and left on the drive up . As soon as you see it from the outside , it looks dirty , rundown and in need of renovation .You’re doing yourself a great disservice by not giving it a lick of paint .. first impressions are extremely important and I’m sure you lose a lot of business through this . Make it look as welcoming as your rooms do !!Loved my room though , thank you .

Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is a good size, clean, comfortable bed and warm. Also had a mini fridge. Bathroom is of a good size with a spa bath and a shower.

The Beach Motel is a little off putting as you drive up to it, especially with the fairy lights.However, it is extremely clean and the staff are very helpful.I would not hesitate staying again, in actual fact this has been my third time.

Have stayed before so knew what to expect. The rooms are tidy and have everything you need. The pub itself is not the most attractive but the food is good and excellent value and the staff work hard to make you feel welcome

All was very good here, the dinner, the breakfast, the room, the parking all good. Didn’t like the fire escape stairway to room but as was quiet in the Motel it wasn’t too much of a problem but I can imagine that in the height of the season it could drive anyone in that block of rooms absolutely mad! Apart from that it was excellent.

Chloe took our booking, reminded us how are room would be for when we arrived early hours from boat. Room welcoming, clean and tidy. Like runner at bed end, just finishes room. Plenty of milk and tea which we topped up easily. Breakfast was good as usual, service warm and friendly. Thank you, looking forward to staying again soon.

Use this as a base to visit family, the room is very comfortable, excellent beds means great nights sleep and the bathroom with its jacuzzi bath is a real treat.The facilities are very good and the environment quiet.Excellent position for visiting near by attractions.Fridge in the room was useful especially for anyone travelling with medication that requires chilling.Overall would highly recommend and we will be returning.

Stayed overnight as a break in the journey home so arrived in the dark, there was a noisy lot in the bar and it said on the door that it was closed. We checked in OK and the chef very kindly said that we could get a meal. When we got to the room we could hardly hear the music from the bar, very good sound proofing. Room was basic but clean and comfy, the place looks a bit run down from the outside but it wouldn't put us off from staying there again.

Staff friendly and welcome. Some changes to room since we last visited, runners on beds. Would like rubber mats in bath for when showering and small shelf by basins for toiletries.Breakfast in Driftwood was excellent and they had good choice for kids.

As other review we read said, 'don't judge a book by its cover' - so very true here. The motel is in an amazing location - a three minute walk to the beautiful beach and five minute walk to some fantastic restaurants. The room was clean and spacious, comfy bed and lovely towels. Staff were all really nice and polite, breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. Large car park and nice outside seating area. Had a couple of drinks in the bar which had a lovely 'local pub' vibe. I would recommend and would definitely stay again.

Everything you need in this motel, never stayed ina Motel before, but didn’t want for anything while we were there, very clean throughout, we didn’t have breakfast as we were out early, just needs a lick of paint on the outside (white)to brighten it all up.Would definitely stay again. 0h and the staff were good too. 👍,

We were very happy with our stay at the Beach Motel. We found the rooms we stayed in to be very clean and comfortable with everything you would want. The meals in the DRIFTWOOD were very good with extremely courteous and friendly service. We would not hesitate to book again if travelling again to Ireland.

Great weekend staying at the Beach Motel, Rooms are very basic and you do get what you pay for which is fine if you just want to get your head down for the night and enjoy everything Trearddur Bay has to offer. The only fault I could find was the Bed throw being grubby and could do with replacing or at least a good clean but we just moved it off the bed other than that the rooms were well equipped, clean, warm, comfy, had a TV along with coffee making facilities. As I say you get what you pay for so enjoy the stunning surroundings, this is one of the closest locations to the Beach and the many stunning walks and remember its not The Ritz.The Driftwood next door is a great pub and we always go, weather staying on site or not. Breakfast is well priced, plentiful and really tasty, the same goes for their evening menu. The pub also has a great atmosphere.

Stairs a challenge for 79 year old.Staff excellent, bar and restaurant very good.Only thing I can not accept is why dogs are permitted in bars and restaurants.(assistance dogs excepted).

First impressions aren't great with the yellow rendered walls of the motel in desperate need of a new coat of paint. However the bedrooms are huge, spotlessly clean and the breakfast and evening menu are excellent. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is stunning

This is the 3rd time we've stayed at the Beach Motel. The staff are always friendly, the breakfast is very good, the rooms are spacious, clean and beds comfortable. The Motel is a very short walk to the beach and there are a couple of really nice places to eat near by.

Everything about this hotel is really lovely. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff cannot do enough for you and everything is done with a smile. The hotel itself is almost on the beach so you don't have to walk far for a paddle. It has a very friendly bar where you can meet a few local residents. The restaurant is reasonably priced and serves great food.

As we arrived we were really worried as the outside of the building looked dreadful.Once we checked in we went to our room which was lovely, clean, well fitted and comfortable.We ate dinner and breakfast and the food was really good.Staff were really friendly and helpful and Trearddur bay is really lovely

The room was very close to the carpark. It was very clean. The spa bath was ideal after a day sightseeing. The bed was big although a bit hard. Staff were very friendly and approachable.

The location was fantastic,the food very good and the footgolf was brilliant, the added bonus being you can play as much footgolf you want for free. The staff we're very polite and friendly, I would go again.

We found the beach motel easy to find. When we check in the staff we helpful and polite. They gave clear instructions on were to find our room. The room was clean and cheerful, there was everything you could need for a weekend.

Room was dated but lovely and clean. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. The staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was a little tired and dark. The breakfasts were nicely cooked and well served by the friendly staff. Overall was pleasant to stay here and the location was perfect for a beach holiday.

We stayed overnight at the Beach Motel after a long drive from eastern England, before taking to Dublin ferry. It was a great place to rest and unwind. Everyone is very friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and nice food is served in their comfortable Driftwood bar and restaurant. No checkout fuss - just drop the key and drive eight minutes to the ferry terminal.

Love this place, all staff friendly and helpful, Even when rushed off their feet in a heatwave. Will stay again.

This was our third stay at the beach motel and we enjoyed it as always. The rooms are always clean and the people running the motel are always friendly and polite. My girls love it here so I’m sure we will be back.

My wife and I spent a most enjoyable four nights at the Motel. Being a long established member of the silver haired brigade the kindly staff re-located us to a comfortable well appointed ground floor room.No complaints whatsoever. God willing we will return at some future date.

Arrived at The Beach Motel on Sunday and we were surprised at the large family room, much bigger than most hotels we have stayed in. Perfect location for the beach, restaurants and shops. The staff were friendly, and breakfast was just what you needed. Will definitely be staying here again.

The Beach Motel is a lovely place to stay in Treadur Bay. Good parking, great location for the beach and good base to explore Anglesey from. The staff were lovely and The Driftwood pub next door served good food.

The room was very comfortable and so were the beds. The bathroom was in very good condition with an excellent shower and jacuzzi bath … although we didn’t try out the jacuzzi. The staff were extremely welcoming with a good breakfast choice. We would definately stay there again.

Our stay here was memorable indeed! The accommodations were good but the staff was super friendly and helpful. When checking out we found out that the taxi service was limited and couldn’t get us to the ferry, the waitress drove us there herself!!!This was a great find and I can’t say enough about the people of Holyhead

Just returned from two night stay. Room was really nice and clean, comfortable and spacious with a jacuzzi. Breakfast was excellent and staff we really nice and polite. First night of our stay there was a singer on in the pub who was brilliant with everyone singing along second night was much quieter so we enjoyed both nights even though they were different. We would definitely stay again.

I only stayed one night as I was passing through Treaddur on the Wales Coastal Path walk. The hotel is ideally located right next to the Coastal Path. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and obliging. I would highly recommend the hotel.

Outside the place looks a bit run down, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. Don't bother paying extra for a Lavazza coffee at breakfast. The coffee was the one disappointing thing in our stay.

We booked for one night then off to Ireland on the ferry.When we pulled up first thought shabby,needs updating.but no look beyond itit was great our room was extremely comfortable lovely while crisp linen bedding,same with towels ..staff very friendly and a evening meal to die for.best lasagna I’ve ever had.We left our car there (at no extra charge ) got a taxi £6.00each way what’s not to like..I highly recommend this hotel....Look beyond the deco.

Room was clean, which is important.Bathroom very big, sink was very small and very low down.Maybe because it had disabled facilities. Entrance to room was on the ground floor, but windows clear, which if you didnt have roller blinds down, everyone could see in, this made the room very dark.A suggestion between me and my husband was to have opaque windows.

Just got back from a great weekend stay with my walking group which included adults of mixed ages, 3 children & 3 dogs. All were made to feel really welcome.Rooms were spotlessly clean & comfortable brilliant shower & super soft & fluffy towels. All the staff were lovely and the breakfast was great. And only a few minutes walk from the beach, shops & restaurants/pubs. Big shout out to the lovely Anna who couldn’t of been more helpful & welcoming from booking and throughout our stay. And to the lads behind the bar who kept the drinks flowing & the music playing. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again 🤩

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and spacious. The pub and restaurant being physically separated from the motel but just next door is brilliant. It wasn't too noisy.The beach is just down the road along with a handy SPAR too.I think the only improvement that could be made if we were being really picky is a fridge in the room and better WiFi.

We stayed 3 nights at the Motel, upon arrival check in was easy and all staff friendly, the exterior of the hotel would benefit from more modern signage and a fresh coat of paint, the interior of the bar area would also benefit from a little TLC, the room was clean and comfortable and the food in the bar was very tasty, all staff we encountered were very good with our dogs, location was excellent and would definitely book another stay when in the area, all in all a good stay.

The motel style rooms are fine with comfortable beds. The staff were all friendly, attentive and cooperative.The food both at breakfast and evening meal was excellent.Trearddur Bay is a lovely location with good beach, walks, shop, bars and restaurants close by. Recommended.

Very friendly staff, room clean and what you would expect from a motel.Reception area a little dated but quite adequate and helpfulness of staff more than made up for any minor shortcomings.

Like many you look at the outside and think Hmmm?, please do not be put off! On arrival Anna reception was lovely made us feel very welcome, helped us with our luggage to our room. The room was spotless, nice size double bed and a single, bathroom had new shower and Jacuzzi bath which the wife loved. The restaurant and bar are on the complex, we had a meal in the restaurant on our first evening excellent service and the food was exceptional, we both had fish and chips, all fresh not out of a box, we were so impressed we ate at the restaurant for the remainder of our stay the Chef's have our respect cooked to perfection and presented very well. The breakfast is well worth the money and freshly cooked so be prepared to wait a few minutes that's how food should be presented, freshly cooked. The locals appear to love this place which is a testament to how good it is! The bar had a wide range of beers and wine to choose from. The beach is 3 minutes away and you are close to Holyhead. Chloe looked after us throughout our stay, had a lovely time and felt very welcome indeed, we will be coming back that is a given. Thank you all!!

I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Beach Motel. I had a lovely spacious family room. It was absolutely spotless and extremely comfortable. All the staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Plenty of parking and only about a 3 minute walk from the beach. I would definitely stay there again and hope to do so later in the year. I would happily award it a 5 star rating.

Stayed here for a few days to explore around, the motel is located ideally for the various restaurants and bars in Trearddur Bay - all within in easy walking distance. The cooked breakfast is excellent and the staff are all friendly and welcoming. Don't be put off by the external appearance the rooms are clean and spacious.

We stayed from Friday 6th May for two nights. This was a surprise treat for our grandchildren aged 6/8/12 so we asked for two rooms that where interconnecting which had been confirmed. There was plenty of room even with the Z Bed in theroom with two single beds .plenty of towels and the rooms were very clean .Plenty of hot water and a good shower .A good amount of tea and coffee available.We also had breakfast at the hotel a good amount of choice from fresh fruit / yoghurts through to a number of choices for hot breakfast as well. On the Friday night we also ate at the Drifters on site restaurant ( we did book ) but we might have been ok ,however as we had the grandchildren with us we really didn't want to be messing about, as a number of locals also use the bar and restaurant and I can imagine it gets very busy .The food was very good and a good mixture for most pallets .We have also ( precovid )stayed all be it a few years ago with a diving group and again we were well looked after . We found all the staff very helpful and friendly .The grand children are already asking when can they go back . Just also to say it's in a great area for walking around to a few different beaches ,a number of restaurants / bars and cafe.We would go back again without hesitation .

I loved staying at the beach motel all the staff are so lovely and the meals are great .hopefully be back in September .

Arriving just before 9pm on a Friday night, still able to get a delicious freshly cooked meal, and it was brought to our room! We return here regularly as the quality and friendliness is second to none - would highly recommend.

Spotlessly clean room, excellent facilities for the very reasonable rates, and helpful friendly staff who made us very welcome. Also great location near to beach.

My husband and I spent two nights in Wales as part of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, and even brought us a bottle of sparkling wine upon our arrival to celebrate our honeymoon! The motel room and bathroom were clean and spacious. The Driftwood pub and restaurant next door had excellent food, and we even joined the pub quiz one night and enjoyed live local music the following night.

On arrival in car park we were a bit put off by paintwork and the Motel looking a bit shabby looking, but once inside foyer we had a warm friendly welcome and they allow dogs to stay. Great, so we climbed the stairs to our room and was very pleasantly surprised at the lovely spotlessly clean spacious room and bathroom. Right near the beach, very relaxed atmosphere and all staff were helpful and friendly. Full English breakfast was delicious and coffee refills was a nice surprise. Would definitely go back again.

Stayed here for the night in April 2022.A nice big clean and bright room. Had everything that I needed and required.Lovely staff and great location, lots of parking too.The stairs up to the rooms are metal so can be a little noisy when people are walking up/down but not a big issue for me.

The initial visual impression of the motel doesn't greatly impress, however the front desk/bartender gentleman was very kind, the room was spacious & clean, and everything worked.Even the beds were perfectly fine.So, if you're skeptical of considering this place, rest assured, you will be happy with your stay.And, it's very close to the beach, a restaurant and ice cream (if you have daughters like I do).Night walks on the beach--even in winter--are a special treat.

Had a superb short weekend break at The Beach Motel.From the warm welcome at check in, to the clean and tidy room and the friendly staff throughout, it was a nice experience for this traveller and his family, who don't use hotels all that often.Would definitely stay again and Trearddur is of course gorgeous.Highly recommended from this customer.

Our experience at the the beach motel was brilliant. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. The room was a family room and was an added bed. The only downside was The extra bed was a very basic camp bed with extremely thin cushioned top, the bin was not emptied from previous guests (the half eaten pot noodles In it began to stink) and the walls are paper thin so we could hear those next to us but was not a major issue. Other than that the room was great and clean. Breakfast is not advertised on the website so we were unsure if the driftwood actually did it and we were so happy when asked if we were having breakfast the next day when checking in. The food was lovely and a great choice between cereals fruit etc and hot breakfast and catered for our children too. The motel is situated a 5 minute walk from a beautiful beach and local shops. We would stay here again in a heart beat and is excellent value for money.

Value for money

We stayed here Sunday last minute plans, me and my daughter arrived and was greeted by lovely staff. We enjoyed our stay at the beach motel, beautiful breakfast in the morning… all n all there is no complaints, we’d stay here again 😄

Everything was ok with one exception.The room itself was spotless and the bed very very comfy - thanks for that - grateful after endless journeying.I did ask in the request area on both my bookings to be away from stairs due to having two small dogs who tend to react to noise. Unfortunately on both occasions I was in a room directly opposite or next to the stairs which made for a slightly stressful stay in terms of them kicking off with the slightest noise. Seeing the layout of the motel many other room positions would have been better so I was a bit disappointed that having made a specific request there seemed to be no notice taken of that.

Another perfect stay, room is comfortable & clean with everything you need, staff are always warm & welcoming. We use the room as a base so we can paddle board in the bay so location is spot on.Food in the driftwood (opposite) is tasty with good choices.

We stayed here for two nights.The room and bed were very comfortable.We had two evening meals which were lovely. Every staff member were helpful and pleasant .

The staff were pleasant and I understand they have all sorts to cater for but the Motel seems to attract undesirables who were urinating by the seated area and using foul language. The staircase definitely needs changing. Residents let kids run up and down making a racket and drag their cases down the metal steps at 5.30 am in the morning. We will not stay again 😔😔

We enjoyed our stay, the staff we really excellent and the evening meal was delicious. The Motel itself looks run down and the room dated and unfortunately not as clean as it could be. The carpet had lots of sand and hair on it and mould in the bathroom. Overall we had a nice time.

We visit the beach motel regulary, we love the position to the beach especially with a young child, its walking distance. Alway very comfortable, lovely and warm and great tea and coffee facilities. I don't like to give bad reviews but some feed back was this stay was a little noisy with patrons from the drift wood after last orders. This could be because of school holidays and it being a run up to a bank holiday weekend. We also had a barking very noisy dog at night. This may be an overlook as in the past we gave had no problems but we only had hand towels in the room and the single duvet didn't have a cover on it although it seemed clean.All in all we loved our stay just small niggles which are easy to put right.

Staying at the Beach motel was just what we needed for a couple of nights. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom with jacuzzi bath was excellent. All the food and service was brilliant and friendly. Oh and dog friendly too with an ideal location that was reasonably priced .

It was a most enjoyable stay. The room was excellent value for money, clean and comfortable and the food at The Driftwood was really good home cooked food. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and we're looking forward to returning very soon.

The hotel was clean and well kept. All the staff were friendly and happy to help. Shower was great and loads of hot water.Downside is we requested low level due to registered disabilities but we were given top floor and no lift.

First time we had gone away overnight with our dog and the price here was amazing for somewhere so close to the.beach.Staff are friendly and the room was bigger than expected and spotless.The jacuzzi bath was very welcome after walking a lot. As a motel rather than hotel, dog toilet trips are easier than having to possibly have accidents on the way outside.Also, the breakfast serving is proper good and the bar is dog friendly too.Definitely be back

Another stay at the Beach and it never disappoints. Been coming hear with the family and other families, whilst working for many years and now on a little cycle stay. The team are always welcoming, friendly and nothing is too much trouble! Good selection of beers at the bar and the breakfast is spot on!

Arrived early so we checked in early as the room was ready.Clean beds and fluffy white towels, blackout windows.Toiletries in the bathroom.Friendly bar attached. 2 Minute walk to treaddur beach so prime location. The outside isn't pretty but the inside is fabulous.Brilliant price.Definitely we will be back as we were made to feel extremely welcome.Thanks a lot

Good size room on second floor with king size bed.Good powerful shower and jacuzzi bath . Good evening meal (Lamb Shank) and breakfast.Only slight negative…. The large window overlooked the outside walkways so we were a bit lacking in privacy.Perhaps a lace curtain would be a good idea?

Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Blackout blind was missing, but that was not a major issue. The motel is well situated for access to beach and places to eat, as well as further exploration of this very beautiful corner of Anglesey. Overall a pleasant place to stay at a reasonable price.

Stayed here with a friend while walking the coast path.The room was big with very comfortable beds and a great bathroom.TheSpa Bath was much appreciated after a long walk.Breakfast was excellent and service both at check in and breakfast was friendly and efficient.Excellent value for money.Our only issue was the bright light outside the room coupled with incomplete blinds made the room very light in the night.

We were really pleased with our stay. The rooms were clean and everything we needed was there tea making facilities and the toiletries in the bathroom were very welcome including the lovely big bath towels.It was handy to have the Driftwood next door so not far to go for breakfast or an evening meal. We also found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. We will certainly be back now we have found you, especially as you are so close to the beach. Thank you for making our stay so nice and relaxing.

We have just stayed at the beach motel for the first time.We were very happy with it, nice room and staff very friendly.

Our second visit to the Beach Motel and both times we have found it excellent value for money.The rooms are clean and well equipped and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful.A special mention for the breakfast chef who on one day had to take on both cooking and serving and Matthew and the young lady (whose name I did not get) who were very friendly and also gave us some tips on where to visit.We have booked a further visit in September so they must be doing something right.

We loved every minute of our stay and the wonderful warm hospitality we received from all who work at the Beach Motel - the drink, the food - breakfast was perfect (the Sunday Carvery on Mother's Day! The lamb was delicious!), the room, the weather we were so lucky to have a Sunny stay in March! Thank you for making our short stay such a pleasurable one and I hope we will get to return for a longer stay in the near future.

This is at least the 3rd time we've stayed here and we'll be back again. Just cannot fault the place! There is always a friendly welcome from staff, the rooms are always clean and it's great that we can take our dogs. The driftwood pub next door is recommended too. Arrived on the tail end of Eunice and blown away by Franklin, in between we had a great stay. Our first time in a dog friendly hotel and honestly I was pleasantly surprised at how clean the room was. The staff in the bar were really friendly.Looking forward to staying again 😁👍
